An allergy is a condition of unusual sensitivity of a person to one or more substances which may be harmless to the majority of other individuals. In an allergic person, the allergic substance (known as allergen) is viewed by the brain as a threat to the body’s well-being. According to NAET’s approach, when a person comes into contact with an allergen, it causes blockages in the energy pathways called Meridians, disrupting the normal flow of energy through the body’s energy circuits. Allergies As Cause OF Illness Continuous contact with an allergen produces toxins in the body, causing allergic reactions to occur. Allergy Testing In NAET: The testing is done by first using a method of Neuromuscular Sensitivity Testing, similar to that used commonly by Kinesiologists. It measures the strength of energy in the body. Then the patient holds a Homeopathic vial of fluid containing the energy of the allergen. The test of energy measurement is once again conducted. The electromagnetic field energy (from the vial) felt by the fingers travels into the body. If the body is allergic to that substance contained in the vial, a drop in the energy levels of the patient is experienced thus indicating the presence of the allergy to the material in the vial. Allergy Treatment In NAET: Once allergens are identified they are treated with the NAET therapy. The treatment involves stimulation of the roots of the sympathetic nervous system along the acupuncture points of the spine, and then the gate points of the meridian lines. This stimulation is done as the patient continues to hold the allergen vial receiving the electromagnetic vibes into the body via the finger pads. This process has the effect of opening blockages in organs and meridian lines to allow the flow of the allergen to be received and not rejected as a toxin as has been previously occurring. Simply said, when energy flow in organs are blocked, toxins are accumulated. This causes allergic reactions manifesting in various forms in the body. What happens at consultation? The first appointment usually lasts upto 1hour.
